SWorkz have introduced the new S35-2E 1/8th scale electric off-road buggy kit. Based on the proven S350 BE1 Evo the vehicle features a new rear suspension design and front Ackermann steering system that was taken over from the S350 EVO II Limited nitro buggy. Also part of the package is the new centre transmission system with a long front and short rear centre driveshaft. The S35-2E also includes higher quality parts, many options from stock as well as a refined shock system with optimised suspension geometry.

Arrowmax have introduced the first in a line of new LiHV battery packs. Made from 5200mAh 110C/55C LiHV cells the battery offers an increased nominal voltage of 7.6V compared to the 7.4V of standard LiPo packs. Using LiHV-compatible chargers a 2S pack can be charged up to 8.7V or 4.35V per cell, allowing for higher output voltage. LiHV packs are also good to be charged to the standard 8.4V for sanctioned races with the flatter discharge curve compared to regular packs making for more punch towards the end of a run. Arrowmax’ 5200mAh pack measures a standard 139x47mm while offering a low-profile height of 22.5mm. The hardcase battery pack is equipped with the now-standard 5mm through-type connector tubes.

Tamiya have introduced the Team Hahn Racing MAN TGS race truck on the TT-01 Type-E 4WD chassis. The kit features an outstanding 4-piece race truck bodyshell with additional parts such as mirrors, engine top and more, making for a super-authentic look. The included 4WD shaft-driven TT-01 Type-E chassis comes with specially-designed wheels and 70mm diameter tyres to round out the scale appearance. The kit will hit stores around mid-July.

Muchmore have introduced their new Hybrid Touch AC/DC balance charger. Offering a compact design and a light weight the device is ideal for crowded pit spaces or RC travelling, without cutting on features or performance. With its 80W charge power it allows for up to 10A of charge current at both AC and DC input. Good for up to 6S LiPo packs the device features a touch sensitive and white back-lit screen, temperature controlled fan, internal balancer, and a 5V/2.1A USB port. When it comes to software features the Hybrid Touch sports balance and storage charging modes, discharging as well as cycling functions. Included with the charger comes an AC input wire as well as two 100mm charging leads with Tamiya and T-type connectors.

Coming soon from Japanese company TRG is the TRG114 v2 1/10th scale formula conversion kit for Tamiya F103 and F104 style cars. Based off of the TRG114 and coming with a range of option parts previously introduced with the Limited Edition kit, the v2 will feature an updated 2.4mm carbon fibre chassis with adjustable front flex system that utilised grub screws to stiffen the front part of the chassis just behind the servo and lower A-arms. Also included are updated 3.0mm lower arms, a 2.0mm upper plate as well as a carbon fibre roll damper T-plate, adjustable roll damper pistons, and the “one touch” centre shock droop adjustment nut. Different from the Limited Edition the v2 will include silver colour alloy parts such as the steering bellcranks and motor pod. The kit will become available in a 200mm wide foam and 180mm narrow rubber tyre variant soon.

McPappy Racing have introduced their new RC brushless chassis dyno version 2.0. The device comes in three different sizes, 2WD and 4WD, chassis testing or motor to motor testing, it offers four different load levels, built in flywheel, can simulate an entire race, and with Windows 8 or later, can even be controlled with your voice. The dyno can accommodate anything from a small slot car up to some of the 1/5th scales. Custom sizes are also available.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Vaillant-liveried Porsche 934, Tamiya’s first ever RC car, the Japanese company now releases the 934 in distinctive Jägermeister livery. The highly detailed body runs on the short wheelbase and wide stance TA02SW chassis to accommodate the scale form of the real sports car. It normally features a tub chassis with 4-wheel, fully independent suspension coupled with a rear ball differential and a front gear type differential. This special edition is fitted with a double deck FRP chassis for increased rigidity. The kit also includes a plethora of other option parts such as an aluminium motor mount, FRP damper stay set, CC-01 universal shafts, hard propeller shaft, and ball diff cup joints.

Cosmic Industries, known for the JQRacing THECar 1/8th bodyshell that made a first appearance during the 2014 IFMAR Worlds in Sicily, now officially launched their range of 1/8th and 1/10th scale bodyshells and accessories. The core idea of their products is to improve the performance level of the wings and bodies to match with today’s highly engineered cars and high speed tracks. Cosmic Industries body kits are meant to offer more stability on high speed straights, technical jump sections, and more traction on corners. And all this with less drag, which means more speed and faster laps. Beside the JQ Racing THECar Balancer body the company also offers body kits for 1/10th Yokomo and Team Associated kits as well as unique dual-layer 1/10th scale wings.
