Having announced it would collaborate with RC racing legend Atsushi Hara back in June, Japanese radio manufacturer Ko Propo has unveiled the limited edition ‘Device’ transmitter & receiver that it will display at the Tokyo Hobby Show.  The ‘Device’ logo design, which was very popular in the past, is reproduced with a matte clear coat giving it a texture that blends in with the pearl black.  Based on Hara’s signature purple colour the key feature of the radio is the Dish Design Aluminium steering wheel.  The anodised wheel is precision machined to recreate the original design with special laser engraving create…

1:28 racing specialists PN Racing has released a new bodyshell that combines ABS and Lexan material with it is calling the Concept C9 ABS Car Body Kit. Coming with a lexan roof & spoiler, the body design prioritizes a low centre of gravity and durability. Featuring Reversible Side Body Clip this allow you to lower the body height by 1mm when installed in the reversed order. The body came unpainted, but the glossy finish of its coloured material make painting unnecessary. Japanese 1:12 specialist brand Kimihiko Yano has introduced 1:12 drivers made from high quality polycarbonate.  You can paint it with your colour scheme with two different types of driver available.  The main difference is the shape of the helmet.  It can be used for a long time because it does not wear out in a crash like the body.  They recommend that you install this product on your 12GT body for increased realism.  It can also be used for product restoration as it is compatible with classic bodies such as TOJ. Hobbywing has released a new Drag Racing version of their very popular & successful XeRun XR10 PRO ESC.  Features a high-performance 32-bit M4 microprocessor, it uses software optimised and based on the world championship winning XeRun XR10 PRO G2S to provide the best control and performance for Drag Racing.  Compared to the XeRun XR10 PRO G2S ESC, the response time is reduced when the throttle acceleration is set to the maximum at 30.  The ESC comes standard with a 9900uF ultra-large capacitor. Having announced plans to enter the 1:8 GT Onroad market in June, MCD Racing has just released first images of their impressive looking new Octox 1:8 GT-E.  One of 1:5 scale racing’s most successful manufacturers, they accompanied the images with the statement, ‘After two years of development, we’re excited to reveal the pictures of the new OCTOX GT-E!  With new molds for composite molding, gears, transmissions, suspension, and body shells all produced in-house, and final tests underway by our team drivers, the OCTOX GT-E is set for release in the first quarter of 2025.’ View more images of car here

In its latest release under the ‘Legendary Series’, Kyosho has announced the Plazma 2WD MK.3 Limited A2 1:12 Kit which is the 16th instalment in the iconic Japanese manufacturer’s Vintage Series. 1:12 scale was the center of on-road electric R/C car racing in the 1980’s and was dominated by the Kyosho Fantom EP-4WD series.
