Tamiya Mini 4WD Asia Challenge 2025 (TMAC 2025)

 

Referring to the announcement made by Tamiya, Inc. in their website : https://www.tamiya.com/english/newstopics/2025/singapore_malaysia_tmac.html regarding the qualification race of Tamiya Mini 4WD Asia Challenge 2025 (TMAC 2025) for Singapore and Malaysia racers, PT Tamindo Plastic Model / TQ R/C and Hobbies, is planning to conduct the qualification race for the racers from Singapore and Malaysia, with the following venue:


Day / Date : Sunday / 08 June 2025
Place : Mall Mangga Dua Square, 1st floor, Hall A

Registration fee: IDR 300,000 per racer, eligible for 20 run

Please kindly note that the organizer reserve full rights to cancel the event should the organizer deem the race participants to be too small and inefficient to conduct the race. We require minimum attendance of 10 racers from each country.  For example, if there is only 10 racers from country X and 2 racers from country Y, then we will only conduct the qualifications from country X only.

Regulation:

1.  Race system is bracket system 4-2-1

Each Racer will buy 1 card for 20 run for Stage 1
Stage 2, each Racer can only have 4 runs
Stage 3, each Racer can only have 2 runs
Stage 4, each Racer can only have 1 run and after this run car will be quarantined

2.  All parts MUST BE Tamiya original parts. 
3.  Racer can use their own rechargeable batteries
4.  Other regulation we will follow TMAC 2025 Stock Class (attached pdf)
5.  Other regulations if not yet stated or unclear, will be informed during the race and all decision from the organizer is FINAL.

Other things to note:

1.  Please note that all racers should bear their own tickets and accomodation to Jakarta.
2.  Winners from the qualifications for position 1-4 from each country, will only be given entry rights. They shall bear their own tickets and accomodations during TMAC 2025 in Taiwan.

The Racers Edge Cube200 is a quad output 50-watt per channel DC only multi-chemistry balance charger. Nosram introduce updated versions of their X-Treme Race competition LiPo battery packs. Protected by a red semi-transparent hard case the packs are build from the latest 3C chargeable cells and come in several specifications from 1S pan car over 2S shorty up to 2S saddle and regular length packs. They feature 4mm bullet-type power and 2mm balancer ports and comply with DMC, BRCA, EFRA and IFMAR rules.

Team Associated have announced the addition of four more pinions to its 1:8 electric line of vehicles. These mod1 pitch gears will expand any racer’s track-tuning options and are now available in 18T, 19T, 20T and 21T versions. These pinions will fit on the RC8.2e, SC8.2e, RC8Be, RC8e, RC8Te, and SC8e.

FTW have launched Phoenix, its new line of truggy bodies, with a fitment for Team Losi’s 8ight-T 2.0. Phoenix is pure performance packaged in sinister chopped-top styling. Convention-defying style integrates an industry-standard downforce profile for the one-two punch of form and function that is standard-issue FTW. Formed from premium grade clear .040” polycarbonate sheet with clear protective outer film, it is supplied with window masks, grill/headlight decal sheet and a 4”x6” FTW logo decal sheet.

Speed Mind introduce five new ‘V3.0′ transmitter bags for intermediate and competition level Airtronics/Sanwa and Futaba radios. They are made using a special fabric that resembles a carbon fibre surface and the bags sport protective inner foams that match with the transmitter’s outlines. Several compartments make storing small parts and accessories easy. An inner pocket for the manual, outer handles and a stitched transmitter logo round up the package. Currently available are dedicated variants for the Airtronics/Sanwa M11X, M12 and MT-4, and the Futaba 4PK and 4PL.

LRP introduce the Quadra Competition V.1 charger and new hard case LiPo battery packs. Starting with the charger, the Quadra Competition V.1 is designed for the stationary use with the integrated power supply or at the track using 12V input. The charger offers up to 10A charge and 5A discharge current, fills 1S to 6S LiPo and 1 to 14 cell LiXX battery packs and offers several charge programs including balancing and storage charging. Featuring a back-lit display and four foil-covered buttons the V.1 is also updatable using the integrated USB interface. Also new is an updated line of competition hard case LiPo battery packs. Available are several 2S and a 1S pack build from 80C/40C up to 110C/55C cells making them ideal for 1/12th to 1/8th scale applications. The capacities available range from 4500mAh with the 2S ‘shorty’ pack up to 7200mAh with the 2S offerings. They come in protective semi-transparent cases and with 4mm bullet-type tube connectors and 2mm balancer ports.

Xceed have announced two new engines for 2013, the ZX-21 DS6 EM and the ZX-12 DS6 EM, both on-road racing engine. The .21 comes with a new long stroke design to improve even more low and mid range acceleration. The components have been ‘hand modified’ by Edoardo Picco using his extensive experience and reliability and performance has been improved while maintaining good fuel efficiency. The .12 engine has a redesigned ABC set and combustion chamber have been redesigned also improving durability and reliability. The ZX-12 EM delivers great power over the entire rpm range, with very good fuel efficiency, with special attention given to mid range acceleration due to the increased traction from the latest generation of 1/10th touring chassis’.

HPI Racing introduce a new option part for the R10 200mm nitro on-road car in the form of an optional belt pulley. The part is designed to give another tuning option for the drivetrain as it will replace the standard 25T pulley with a slightly larger one, slowing down the front wheels in relation to the rear one in order to fine-tune the car. CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium the pulley comes laser-etched for easy identification.

More new parts for the Kyosho RB6, this time from Exotek Racing, who have focused on the car’s big bore shocks. A number of new red anodized aluminium parts they have introduced a top cap set, threaded collar set with large knurling for easy grip and notched for accurate adjustments, a bottom thread set and finally cap sleeves. All the items use the standard kit o-rings and remaining shock parts.
