Having been quite of late in terms of new engine releases, Italian engine manufacturer Picco has just announced an exciting new addition to its line-up with the release of DIX Limited Buggy engine.  ‘A masterpiece of engineering designed to redefine nitro engine performance’, the DIX name (ten in French) signifies more than its cutting-edge 10-port cylinder design.  It’s a tribute to our French connection, inspired by Picco’s top driver, Renaud Savoya.  Now run by brothers Edoardo and Alberto, Picco say that ‘The DIX embodies a unique fusion of Italian ingenuity and French flair, creating a truly international marvel’ and ‘from…

Focused on high-performance parts for 1:10 offroad, new German brand Kaaak Racing has released its new 13mm shock bodies set for TLR 1:10 cars.  The shocks are compatible with parts from the 3mm G3 shocks by TLR, with the exception that 13mm pistons are required.  It is particularly noteworthy that the inner surface of the T7075 shock body material has been left uncoated, with a focus on achieving a high surface quality instead.  The full set of 4 bodies is made up of 2x 36.5mm front and 2x 42mm rear bodies. New from JConcepts is this Aero Upper Wing for the Team Associated RC10B7 1:10 2WD Buggy platform.  Aerodynamics is a key point on any vehicle, and particularly 1:10 offroad vehicles, and JConcepts regularly experiments with aero features throughout the entire product line.  Front wings are not a new concept, however, they are new to the latest generation of vehicles with demanding high-speed and grippy circuits.  Together with their team drivers, they have developed a new high-performance front wing for the Team Associated RC10B7. Mounted above the front shock tower, the Aero front wing mounts in “clean air” and is quite…

MR33, working together with Boom RC, has released this 3D printed bracket & cover for the SkyRC tire heating station meaning you can carry your 1:10 Touring or FWD car to the track with fully powered tire warmers on.  Having noticed that the new Matrix D36 in particular needs a lot of heat to function optimally, the decisive factor is how much heat is still present in the tire at the start of the race.  The Tire Warmer +Plus is compatible with the SkyRC Tire Warmer and is attached with 4 existing screws.  Operation is designed for a Gens Ace…
Reedy has released a new line of HV-Lipo batteries it is calling Zappers SG6.  Incorporating new advancements in cell manufacturing and battery construction they have improve power output, lower internal resistance and increased durability.   Featuring a 3.8V/cell nominal voltage which means that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell, this can be useful in applications such as 1:8 eBuggy where maximum power output and run time are critical.  Even when the typical 8.40-8.44V (4.2-4.22V/cell) charging limit is enforced, the SG6’s inherently flat discharge curve results in higher voltage deeper into the race and more consistent power output from start…
Infinity has released new Sway Bar Stoppers for the front stabiliser on its World Championship winning IF18-3 1:8 Onroad Car.  By making the contact surface with the bearing spherical, smoother movement of the sway bar is achieved.  Durability has also been greatly improved by using steel.  The Stabiliser Stoppers available in 2.3, 2.5, and 2.7mm.   Also new from the Japanese manufacturer is a new Steering Knuckle Plate for their IF15-2 and IF15-2W.  This allows for a greater steering angle of the outer tire in corners than the standard kit version.  This will make tighter cornering possible, and can improve high…
